As mentioned above, the coast between the city of Nice and Antibes provides a great zero effort cycle path along the Mediterranean Sea without any climbs and few twists and turns. The flower strewn path is safe, separate from the road, and passes along the Promenade des Anglais, through Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, then on to Antibes.

You can definitely make it from Nice to Antibes and back in one day, since it only takes about an hour to cycle one way. Any type of rental bike will be ideal for this route. If you choose to rent an electric bike, you can probably make it from one city to the next in about 45 minutes!
